My Heartwarming Dog Rescue Journey with Delco Dawgs as a Realtor and Homeowner
As much as I love helping people find their dream homes, I recently had the chance to give a home to a new family member of my own. I’m thrilled to share the story of how I rescued a wonderful dog through Delco Dawgs
Delco Dawgs is an incredible organization in our local area, dedicated to finding homes for dogs in need. When I first came across their mission, it touched my heart, and I knew I wanted to get involved. Little did I know, my involvement would lead me to welcome a sweet, furry companion into my life.
The process of adoption was smooth, thanks to the caring and professional volunteers at Delco Dawgs. From the moment I met this adorable pup, I felt an instant connection. As a REALTOR®, I often help match families with homes, but this time, it was about finding the perfect home for a rescue dog—a task that brought immense joy.
Bringing a rescue dog into my home has been a rewarding experience. Not only have I provided a safe and loving environment for a dog in need, but this little friend has added warmth and companionship to my daily routine. It has reminded me how important “home” is, not just for people but for pets too.

Delco Dawgs Animal Rescue became a registered 501c3 in 2018. Our mission is to rescue abused, neglected, injured, ill, retired breeder dogs, and homeless animals, (primarily dogs), who otherwise would be euthanized. They also provide search and rescue when a family pet/dog is lost. They spare no expense providing necessary medical attention. Their dogs are placed in a loving foster homes to recuperate, and once well, they find a forever family for our dogs. Because they are a foster based rescue and 100% volunteer organization all donations we receive goes directly to the medical expenses of the animals in our care.
